AWAY WIN FOR IORRAS AONTAITHE (B)
In the second half Iorras looked a different side and on the 64th minute, Garth O’Malley made it 2-2 and he secured the points for Iorras on the 76th minute after some good play from Jack Deane. This was a very good team performance which showed good character, coming from behind and probing like they did. Manager, Micheal S. Togher was delighted with the way the team played.
TEAM- Gary Keane, Simon MacArthur, Tom Gruddy, Ian O’Boyle, Tom McAndrew, Micheal Meenaghan, Jack Deane, John Noel Flannary, Jimmy Tighe, Harry Reilly and Garth O’Malley. SUB USED- Mark Reilly for Simon MacArthur (Injured) for second half.

SOCCER SCHOOL “FUN FUN FUN”

Getting their footballs
The Sean Davis Soccer School was at the Club ground in Carnenash Park from Tuesday 7th to Friday 10th April and over 70 Children enjoyed a fun filled few days, despite the heavy rain and cold wind.
The team winners on Tuesday 7th were, Real Madrid. Katie Togher, Ciaran Ivan, Nicole Flannery, Mark Flannery, Fiona Conroy, Ronan Barrett and Jarlaith Reilly.
Athletic Madrid. Paul Barrett, Tom Ivan, Sean Brogan, Liam Keane and Micheal Murphy.
Team winners on Wednesday 8th were. Manchester United. Shane Togher, Aaron Reilly, Fiona Ryan, Moire O’Reilly, Katie Jackson, Oisin O’Donnell and Jarlath Reilly.
Tottenham Hotspur. Ritchie Hanley, Patrick Sweeney, James Flannery, Paul Barrett and David Dixon.
Team winners on Thursday 9th were Liverpool. Shane Togher, Fionnan Ryan, Robert Barrett, Oisin O’Donnell, Diarmuid O’Donnell and Ciara Hurst.
And Barcelona were. Owen O’Donoghue, Tony Conroy, Ryan McIntyre, Mark Walker and Ryan Lavelle.
Team winners on Friday 10th were. Italy, Sara Derda, Keith Kennedy, Fiona Conroy, Aaron Reilly, Anthony Walsh and Robert Barrett.
And Brazil were, Niall McGonigle, Tony Conroy, Peter MacArthur, Patrick Sweeney and Micheal Hurst.
Best at heading the ball were, Padraig Ruddy, Jessica Whelan, Owen O’Donoghue and John Kilker.
Penalty Kings were, Anthony Walsh, Mark Walker, Patrick (Torres) Sweeney and the penalty Queen was Fiona Conroy.
Player of the week at U8 was Aaron Reilly.
Player of the week at U14 was Kyle O’Reilly.
Player of the week at U16 was Paul Barrett.
Girl of the week was Katelyn Walsh.
Goalkeeper of the week was Sean Murphy.

Thursday April 9th U18 Quigley cup Iorras Aontaithe v Castlebar Celtic @5pm, Carnenash. (Result) Iorras 2 Castlebar 5. Hard luck everyone, the Iorras lads should have got more from the game, with all the possession the team had in the second half, plus the referee was a disgrace, having made very questionable decisions during the game. Keep up the good work.
